Urban Worldwide is an executive transportation (limousines) company based in California with services in over 700 cities worldwide. We have been around since 1979 with the hopes to continue for years to come. We are looking for hospitality experienced workers with great customer service experience, high computer knowledge and flexibility for work shift. We are 24 hours a day 7 days a week and run a full staff. 

Description

Input new reservations along with monitoring emails and phones. Schedule and dispatch workers and service vehicles for conveyance of passengers.  

Job Functions

  • Confirm reservations for transportation using telephones, faxes, mail and computers
  • Prepare customer invoices and accept payments
  • Answer inquiries regarding information such as schedules, services, procedures and policies
  • Assemble and issue required documentation such as itineraries
  • Determine whether vehicles are available on dates requested by customers as well as checking with the scheduler or dispatcher
  • Provide information to clients on availability
  • Confer with customers to determine their service requirements and preferences
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
  • Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested
  • Make and confirm reservations

Working Conditions

Tools and Equipment Use

  • LIMOANYWHERE EXPERIENCE IS A MAJOR PLUS
  • Must have 2 monitors at time of hire

Position Requirements

  • Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalency

Experience

  • Hospitality Industry required
  • Some previous dispatching/customer service related skill, knowledge or experience is preferred

  • Must be able to work a rotating schedule and must be able to work any shift/ any day (days, nights, weekends, holidays)
  • Excellent active Listener: giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
