Junior Financial Controller

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of the budget and actively monitor its implementation on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Support the preparation of monthly reports on budget implementation, highlighting necessary changes for individual departments and the overall company budget.
• Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and the annual financial report.
• Track, monitor, and analyze monthly financial results, investigating variances and reporting on fluctuations. Implement financial controls to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Calculate operating costs of the budget, including loans, receivables, liquidity, etc., and contribute to optimizing the company's expenses.
• Monitor and control the company's financial liquidity.
• Ensure compliance with financial procedures, laws, and tax regulations.
• Assist in monitoring and evaluating financial transactions, such as payments, debt collection, and creating deposits.
• Manage DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and contribute to its improvement.
• Support the implementation of recommendations provided by Internal Audit.
• Collaborate closely with the Country Finance Manager and Accounting Department.
• Undertake ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the CFM or CM.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Some prior experience in a financial role, such as internships or entry-level positions.
• Good understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial calculations.
• Familiarity with financial procedures, laws, and tax regulations.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities with the ability to meet deadlines.

Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) and Excel is required.
