Junior IT Security Engineer

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A:

JUNIOR IT SECURITY ENGINEER

We need you to be part of a team that strives to speed up and optimize security processes, improve security of IT systems, and reach a new level of cyber security.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Implementation of solutions in the field of network protection
• Network protection for customers by creating, implementing, and maintaining network security policies
• Network protection in the Cloud environment (AWS)
• Technical support for customers and creation of technical documentation

Required skills and experience:

• 1 year of work experience in the field of information technology and telecommunications
• Knowledge of routing/switching principles and related technologies, advanced knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP stack, OSI and PKI models
• More than 1 year of work experience with Next Generation Firewall devices and implementation of IT security solutions
• Knowledge of network devices, including IDS/IPS systems, firewalls, SPAN/TAP devices
• Knowledge of Linux or Windows operating systems
• Proficiency in English language (advanced level)

Desirable skills:

• Experience in working with MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle, as well as NoSQL (MongoDB, Apache Cassandra) databases
• Possession of knowledge in the field of Microsoft Windows Defender management (EDR)
• Knowledge of network concepts in Cloud environment (AWS, Azure, Oracle)
• Possession of relevant certificates (CISSP, CISA, CCNA, RHCSA/RHCE, LPIC, CompTIA Network+, Security+)
